Dr. Min Weiqing is an associate professor in Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include multimedia content analysis and food computing. He has published more than 30 papers in ACM/IEEE Transactions including IEEE TPAMI, CCF-A conference long papers, Patterns (Cell Press), ACM Computing Surveys, Trends in Food Science & Technology and Food Chemistry. He is the recipient of 2016 ACM TOMM Nicolas D. Georganas Best Paper Award and 2017 IEEE Multimedia Magazine Best Paper Award. He won the second Prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award and ACM China SIGMM Rising Star Award. He is a senior member of IEEE/CCF/Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology, Deputy Secretary-General of CCF Multimedia Committee, Area Chair of ACM MM 2021/ICME 2022, and Guest Editor of international journals IEEE Trans. on Multimedia and Foods. As the lead organizer, he organized a tutorial on food computing at ACM MM2020 and a workshop on large-scale food analysis at ICCV2021.
