Mr. Zhang Zhe serves as the General Manager of the "Tongrentang Health Intelligent Manufacturing Digital Factory," overseeing the factory's construction, product research and production, and upgrades in intelligent manufacturing. In the field of health products, he is responsible for the supply of Tongrentang’s traditional premium tonic products such as cordyceps, bird’s nest, and sea cucumber, as well as the integrated operations of research, production, and supply for Tongrentang’s signature medicinal and food-homologous "blue cap" health supplements and functional foods.

Mr. Zhang Zhe previously worked at globally renowned food companies such as Mondelēz International, bringing over 20 years of exceptional experience in formula development, quality enhancement, and intelligent manufacturing within the health food and supplement sectors.

The "Tongrentang Health Intelligent Manufacturing Digital Factory 4.0" is located in the Biomedical Industry Base in Daxing District, Beijing. Building on Tongrentang’s traditional "front shop, back factory" business model, it has been developed into a comprehensive, digital, and intelligent manufacturing health base that integrates consumer experiences, health product manufacturing, logistics and supply, and R&D innovation. It caters to manufacturing needs across four major categories: Chinese herbal decoction pieces, health supplements, general foods, and Chinese patent medicines. The facility boasts capabilities in the development, production, and supply of various health product forms, including tablets, capsules, powders (including solid beverages and freeze-dried powders), granules, and liquids. It is well-equipped to meet the product manufacturing demands of Tongrentang’s own channels and various partners.
