Joy Chen is mainly engaged in the development, registration and technology application research of dietary supplement, functional food and food for special medical purposes (FSMP). She presided over the R&D and registration of all kinds of dietary supplement and FSMP more than 100, with rich experience in food R&D.

Joy Chen had worked in scientific research institutions for more than 10 years, presided over and participated in more than 10 national-level provincial-level scientific research projects, applied for more than 10 patents, published more than 20 papers, and participated in the compilation of many nutrition professional and popular science books such as "Theory and Practice of Food for Special Medical Purposes" and "Systematic Nutrition Theory, Second Edition".

She was participated in the formulation of many standards such as Fat Powder for Special Foods and Evaluation Criteria for Low GI (Glycemic index) Foods.
