Professor Liu Xinqi has studied and worked in Japan for 25 years. In 2010, he was selected into the "thousand talents plan" of the overseas high-level talent introduction plan of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, won the title of "national distinguished expert", and served as the chief scientist of COFCO nutrition and Health Research Institute of COFCO group. In 2015, he was transferred to the school of food and health of Beijing Technology and Business University, and served as the chief scientist of Beijing advanced innovation center for human and health, mainly studying plant protein processing technology and nutrition and health of the elderly. It has undertaken three key R & D projects of the Ministry of science and technology of China, and was selected as Beijing strategic scientific and technological talents in 2019. He has published more than 100 SCI papers in journals in the field of nutrition and food, authorized 38 patents and won 5 first prizes of science and technology of provincial and ministerial societies.
