Design Story
In China, no food without oil. The strong dependence on oil also makes Chinese people's oil intake seriously exceed the standard, bringing many health risks such as obesity, sub-health, three high, fatty liver, and so on, and increasing the pressure on the total cost of social medical care.
When it comes to cooking oil, most of the products on the market give people the inherent impression of heavy 5L, greasy and sticky ordinary plastic bottles, and even placed next to the open fire stove, due to high temperature produced some deformed plastic bottles; The shelf of edible oil is also because of raw materials and origin, the grade is strictly divided: traditional edible oil is mostly transparent large plastic bottles, many consumers use edible oil at home, will choose to use the product to small capacity oil bottles; Imported olive oil is mostly based on wine glass bottles, which are also slightly bulky. In the kitchen use scenario, oily hands hold the smooth glass bottles, and it is not easy to pick them up.

At the beginning of the design, we hope to be able to have a unique difference with other edible oil products in terms of visual and use experience, and hope to give the young generation of consumers not a uniform design, but a certain aesthetic value and social value of the packaging; Therefore, the packaging design of the product on the floor is completely different from the plastic packaging of ordinary cooking oil or the wine packaging of high-end cooking oil. The two simplest shapes, round and rounded rectangles, constitute the current product outline. In the choice of color, low saturation green with more natural feeling is also used. Trying to enable consumers to effectively identify light cloud products from 10 meters away from the shelf.
Market Performance
Since September 2023, light cloud load reducing vegetable oil has been launched on platforms such as Tiktok, Tmall, and XiaoHongshu, and monthly sales have steadily increased. A small number of consumers have taken the initiative to share orders on the small Red Book platform, and they have also received a lot of positive feedback on the Tmall platform.

What functional designs of the work have enhanced the user experience?
The overall weight of the bottle is 100g, which is more textured than ordinary plastic bottles, less effort than glass bottles, and has an excellent sense of holding; No thermoplastic cap is used, one is not easy for users to tear, and the other is to reduce the use of non-degradable plastics through this small move; The opening torque of the inner oil nozzle pull ring is designed to be 0.6N.m~2.N.m, so that consumers can easily pull up the pull ring at the same time, without damaging the pull buckle and causing the pull ring to fail to open; Ginkgo biloba oil nozzle provides two different ends of the oil outlet, hot frying can be selected according to the demand of the larger oil outlet side, cold mixing or need to strictly control the quantity can choose the other side.
