Andy Zhe, Ph.D., is a senior scientist affiliated with Danone Nutricia Research in the Netherlands. He has been engaged in research on intestinal flora and microbial physiological metabolism for more than ten years.
He graduated with a Ph.D. from Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands and a master's degree in Synthetic Biology Laboratory from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He also worked as a guest editor of Frontiers in Microbiology, a well-known journal on microecology, and a corporate mentor at several universities.
He founded NewPro Bioworks, using synthetic biology enabling technology and precise fermentation to promote biomanufacturing lactoferrin, casein, beta-whey protein and other dairy functional proteins.
