Dr. Ronnie Yuan is the innovation director and senior science fellow at DSM Hydrocolloids. He has over 25 years of experience in the hydrocolloids industry, focusing on physically modified starch and biogum product, process and application development. Prior to DSM, Ronnie had worked at Opta Food Ingredients and CP Kelco in the US. Ronnie received his doctorate degree in Food Science from the Pennsylvania State University. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles, and is co-inventor of 18 patents.
