Dr. Tan is the PepsiCo R&D Technology Ventures (PTV) Lead based in Singapore.
In this role, Dr. Tan is focused on building connectivity within the External Innovation network and supporting the PepsiCo Innovation teams within APAC. She is responsible for carrying out global open innovation activities, future strategy and partnering R&D associates on their External Innovation projects and challenges. Dr. Tan’s primary focus is to expand PepsiCo’s APAC ecosystem and promoting External Partners Engagement.
Prior to this role, Dr. Tan was Principal Scientist s– PepsiCo Global R&D Beverage Applications and Product Development.
Dr. Tan holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Food Science from Louisiana State University and Ph.D. on Food Science from Cornell University’s Dept. of Food Science.
