Design Story
Any kind of trend can arise in a place, and its original driving force must meet certain needs of the local society at that time. Combining the type attributes of pure tea and the current social needs, the expression form of "Chinese style" is an inevitable choice. The Let’s tea·High Mountain series is designed around "good tea in high mountains", and communicates with consumers in a Chinese style. As the national beverage, tea has witnessed historical changes for thousands of years. We have invited numerous industry masters to jointly design the appearance packaging with “Chinese style” with the expectation of telling its inherence. The illustration of traditional tea-making techniques on the bottle, the eight-section design and cursive combination calligraphy of Mountain embody the beauty of traditional culture in China.
Highlights
The calligraphy of “High Mountain” was written by Ms. Qian Xiaocui, an independent calligraphy artist. The majesty of the Chinese mountain was vividly revealed with alternating strokes of cursive lines; The bottle shape was ingeniously polished by Xiu Haoren, the winner of many international awards including the Red Dot Design Award and GoodDesign and the former Design Director of LETV sports industry. The design has a smooth beauty and comfortable grip. The illustration for the bottle sticker was painted by Ouyang Pengjie, the leader of a new generation of Chinese pen painting artists, presenting the long tea-making culture in China.
