Design Story
"Magic Potato Wands" is a children's interactive snack project in which we designed a magic box to encourage parent-child engagement.
Highlights
We hope that this packaging can surprise children and even parents, just like the product name "Magic Potato Wands" and the cartoon image on the packaging with its own magical properties, so we developed a unique structure of the paper box. When opening the packaging by pressing the small mechanism on the outer packaging, you can perform "magic" to make the product inside disappear or appear. We hope that opening the package becomes a ritual each time, and that the packaging can be utilized as a magical prop to accompany the children's pleasant time after eating the snacks. This will provide additional opportunities for parent-child engagement while also increasing brand affinity and introducing surprises.
Market Performance
Launched in October 2021, the first batch is limited to 25,000 boxes, sold out within 30 days of release, and the cumulative sales volume is now 60,000 boxes
