Korean Style Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken Flavor Buldak Ramyeon, the new product exclusively customized for the Chinese market, was officially launched on October 11, 2023. It embodies four distinct characteristics: "exclusively for China", "classic flavors", "excellent reproduction", and "sweet yet non-cloying".
In terms of product quality, Samyang Foods continually strives for a balance between classic and innovative taste experiences. This is particularly evident in the noodles, ingredients, sauce, and spiciness of the products.
- For the "noodles", the Korean manufacturing process ensures the noodles are firm and smooth, with an elastic texture.
-In terms of "ingredients", high-quality Vietnam chili pepper and Habanero were selected to bring a richer layer of spiciness.
- Regarding the "sauce", its sauce packet weighs 37.0 grams, which is 5.2 grams more than the original Buldak Ramyeon 's sauce packet of 31.8 grams. Moreover, while the original Buldak Ramyeon includes a garnish packet of white sesame seeds and grilled seaweed flakes weighing 0.9 grams, the new flavor uses a combination of white and black sesame seeds, increasing the weight to 1.5 grams.
- In terms of the "spiciness", this new product, while adhering to the classic Korean sweet and spicy fried chicken flavor, offers consumers a sweet yet non-cloying taste experience. It is even more tailored to the taste buds of young Chinese consumers.
- As for the production process, it achieves technological breakthroughs while adhering to traditional craftsmanship. The noodle cakes, created using Korean manufacturing techniques, are firm and smooth, offering an elastic texture.
