Since the launch of Chupa Chups Sour Belt series in China market, it has become the popular internet celebrity product among young generation with its unique taste and trendy design.In July 2023, Perfetti Van Melle successfully launched Chuapa Chups 1 Meter Sour Belt. As the first sour belt with "1-meter-long" concept, it has the sweet sour fruit taste and the surprising length. In order to make the product more interesting, 4 belts are connected and placed in the box, that consumers can pull all the belts from the box at one time.
In the production process, Perfetti Van Melle China has introduced the sour belt equipment from abroad to overcome the technical issues, and installed 2 sour belt production lines. We invited foreign experts team to guide us, Chinese team also went overseas several times to study this unique process, and then finally independently produced the sour belt product line. At the same time, PVM made a breakthrough innovation in the form of sour belt, 1 meter sour belt was finally come to market in July, 2023.
