Kaz started his career as a strategist in Dentsu Tokyo, later becoming a global creative and strategy hybrid.

His work has been innovative from the early days, participating in the first undertaking for Dentsu, a start-up "Euglena", which stock price jumped over 50 times.

His challenges continues around the world in over 20 countries, serving more than 50 brands.
Awarding himself awards such as Cannes, Oneshow, LIA, Adfest, Spikes, Adstar. Kaz also published books on branding which entered Top 3 in Amazon's marketing book rankings.

Arriving in China in 2014, Kaz established CDC China adding on over 25 new clients and winning more than 85 awards medals including winning 1st medal from Oneshow, LIA, 1st Gold from Adfest, 1st Grand-prix from China great wall, and 3rd from Effie, for Beijing Dentsu etc.

In March 2017, he was awarded the most pioneering leader in Dentsu Aegis China, later in June promoted CCO of Dentsu Shanghai, the youngest ever. As CCO, Kaz led the team to a winning ratio exceeding 60%, profit jumped by more than 400%, added on another 20 new accounts, shifted the client portfolio from the originally skewed 80% Japanese clients to a more balanced 50% local and international clients and 50% Japanese client base, and tripled the CR team headcount, managing over 100 team members.

Campaign brief ASIA CR agency ranked Beijing Dentsu 4th for 2018; a great jump from 21st in 2016 and 7th in 2017. Beijing Dentsu had never been ranked prior to Kaz's arrival in China.

2017 Campaign Agency of the Year short listed Beijing Dentsu, again for the first time. Furthermore, Kaz was selected runner-up for Greater China Creative Person of the Year, and was again shortlisted in 2018 for 2 consecutive years.

2018 Campaign Brief's THE WORK selected Kaz for Top 20 ECD in APAC. 2019 Creativepool selected Kaz for Top 100 Influencer of the Year. He was also elected as jury for Cannes, LIA, One show, and New York Festivals in 2018/2019.

Arriving in Canada in Jul 2019, Kaz took on a new challenge focusing on 2 missions, Dentsu Bos Canada's ECD for Innovation and Dentsu Canada's Solution leadership member to strengthen the CR power in areas beyond the advertising domain for both Local and Global clients.
In addition, he successfully established Dentsu Canada CR council to improve CR excellence. Leading the council and promoting CR collaboration across the group.
Following Kaz’s arrival, Dentsu Bos was awarded for D&AD and One show for the first time and he was elected as jury for Lisbon international award in 2020 for 2 consecutive years.

In Oct 2020, he was appointed as CCO dentsuMB China and came back to China again.
