UB Qiu is the Partnership Development Executive at Green Monday, a Hong Kong-based multi-faceted social venture building a plant-based platform to address climate change, food insecurity and public health. She is responsible for building partnerships with corporates and schools to advocate for the environmental and climate benefits of plant-based diet.
Prior to joining Green Monday, UB was the Sustainability Lead of North Asia at Interface, a global flooring manufacturer and a leader in sustainability. Before that, UB was a Sustainability Consultant at E&Y’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services team. Before relocating back to China, UB also interned at various NGO’s and think tanks in the U.S. focusing on environmental and climate policy research.
UB was listed as one of the 2021 GreenBiz 30 Under 30 honorees, who are recognized as global future leaders in the business and sustainability field. UB is currently pursuing a Master of Environmental Management at the Yale School of the Environment. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Policy and Psychology from the College of William and Mary.
