Lisa Zhang, Co-founder of Alfilo Brands, has in-depth knowledge of IP licensing, cross-border marketing and the commercialization of the cultural and creative industry.
Alfilo is a cooperation specializing in the operation of European and American cultural IPs and is the exclusive licensee and operator of a number of world-renowned cultural IPs in China, including the British Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the National Gallery.
The licensing business cases facilitated by Lisa have been shortlisted as classic business cases in Harvard Business Review and have won several nominations for the best cases awarded by LIMA Global Licensing Industry.
In 2017, she led the publication of The Age of Bestseller, the white paper on China's copyright industry, which is the first physical book introducing copyright content covering online literature, games, film and video.
In 2019, she led the promotion campaign of the "Jingdong World Museum Super IP Day", which involved four museums on three continents (the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Fine Art, Boston,Victoria and Albert Museum, and the National Gallery, London), two platforms (Jingdong and Discovery Channel), and more than 60 well-known brands. The project was rewarded the Gold Award at the Golden Investment Awards in 2020.
In 2020, a new business model of "dual IP licensing" was created, which empowers both the licensee and the licensor, and builds an innovative licensing model of "art and animation licensing + licensed merchandise + online platform theme field + offline experience shop". The projects “The British Museum & Hello Kitty”, “East Meet West Shanghai Museum & the Metropolitan Museum of Art” have been fully implemented.
She has been the long-term lecturer of the cultural and creative courses in Shanghai Jiaotong University; has been a member of the judging panel of major awards of domestic advertising agencies (Golden Mouse, Hooxiao Award, JinCheng Award, etc.) for many times.
