Mr. Xulin GUO is the Chief of Staff and Business Assistant to the CEO of Freshippo, an Alibaba wholly-owned new retail business. Before joining Alibaba, Xulin was an entrepreneur in China, where he founded two companies, one was an e-commerce platform for professional services and another was a boutique financial advisory firm. Before that, he was with Goldman Sachs, IDG Capital, and JPMorgan, where he was responsible for deals in IPO, M&A, securities trading, and venture capital investment.

Xulin is a CFA charter holder, a MBA from Yale School of Management, and holds a master’s degree in economics from Peking University and bachelor’s degree in management from Nankai University in China.
