During 2012-2014, Ran Hu was the leader of NetEase health department and NetEase Meimei department.

In the September of 2014, she developed a local team in Hangzhou and started e-commerce international business (named Kaola). She was responsible for supply chain management, supplier sourcing & negotiation, and sales revenue. She also established Koala's global factory online store, social e-commerce platform (named YouPin) and was responsible for Kaola physical store and community shopping business.
