Mr. Sakamoto has been engaged in functional food market development, product development and marketing activities in Japan, the United States and other Asian countries for the past 25 years, including 5 years in Japan, 8 years in the United States and 12 years in China.
He started to engage in commercial activities in China in 2007 and is currently the general manager of Shanghai Nitta Gelatin Co., Ltd. He has been committed to not only commercial promotion but also public education for the application and collagen peptides in health products for many years.
In the Chinese market, Nitta Gelatin has focused on product and market development of Wellnex, a high-functional collagen brand, and conducts joint research projects with various universities in China for continuous research and development of collagen peptides.
