Mr. Gao graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology with a master’s degree in financial engineering, and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics with a bachelor’s degree in applicable mathematics. He is the head of the Everbright-Zhongying’s new economy consumer sector, and co-founded the Everbright-Zhongying New Economy Fund, and currently serves as executive director and president. Before entering Everbright-Zhongying Capital, he worked for the consumer industry team of investment banking division (IBD) at Citic Securities, where he was involved in numerous IPOs or M&A deals of retail and consumer goods firms. Mr. Gao is actively involved in the early-stage investments in retail and consumer goods firms now, and he is mainly responsible for the investments, fund raising and operation management of Everbright-Zhongying Capital.
