Luke MacQueen is a research associate in the Disease Biophysics Group led by Professor Kevin Kit Parker at Harvard University. At Harvard, Luke develops new tissue engineering methods to build improved laboratory models of muscle tissues. Prior to this work, Luke obtained his PhD in Engineering Physics from the Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal and then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Toronto in the field of cellular mechanobiology.  Luke’s research interests include material sciences, tissue engineering, synthetic biology and emerging bioprocess applications.
