Janine Booij-Veurink is an expert in microbiology, molecular biology, fermentation, and food technology with over a decade of experience in the food industry. She is the technical motor behind the clean label developments in FrieslandCampina Kievit, driving towards innovations in labeling, natural and authentic ingredients, and sustainability.

Janine was also born and raised in the Netherlands, the daughter of a FrieslandCampina member farmer, so grew up milking cows and has been living and breathing authentic Dutch dairy her entire life. 

She has even owned a catering business for many years, deeply understanding the food safety and showing her passion for food and drink extends further than then lab.

She wishes to use her passion and knowledge with Frieslandcampina Kievit “Clean label” project  to contribute her values to help promote the clean label development of Chinese food & beverage market.
