As Global business development lead for cultures, probiotics and food protection, Steen Lyck is responsible for building up and developing the Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMO) venture at DuPont Nutrition BioSciences. And as Global Business Director, Steen Lyck is building up a new business unit around HMOs and early life nutrition. The first commercial available HMO is 2’-Fucossyllactose, but more HMOs are in the pipeline for commercialization. DuPont has a unique position in probiotics and can inhouse screen and develop health benefits for combinations of probiotics and multiple HMOs.

Steen Lyck has been more than 20 years with DuPont in various positions in business development, product management in cultures and probiotics as well as global key account management. Despite of primarily commercial roles, Steen Lyck has a strong technical background, with a M.Sc. degree in dairy science and technology at University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He has more than 20 years experiences in starter cultures, pre- and probiotics as well as dairy application. Steen lives in Denmark and is based out of DuPont Nutrition BioSciences global technical headquarter in Brabrand.
