Stephen’s career has worked in the FMCG industry for more than 27 years. He has worked in four continents for four companies with iconic brands. Starting in Sydney, Australia, he worked his way up through the Sales Organisations with Procter & Gamble and Colgate Palmolive in both Developed and Developing markets. He moved into General Management with Carlsberg in China transforming a very dispersed and low efficient West China Brewery Network into a National Company. Stephen has recently joined Mondelez as the President of the Mondelez China organization, aggressively leading the company back to high single digit growth from the challenging previous years. Stephen is now focused on continuing to drive sales and share growth and for leading the Transformation of China. The Transformation includes Supply Chain simplification and Sales Route to Market. In July Stephen was appointed as the head of e-Commerce for Mondelez in Asia, in addition to the China role and has recently been appointed as the head of Sales for the Asia region. With his 27 years in the FMCG industry, 15 years of on the ground work experience in China working with wholly owned business, managed JVs and non managed JVs he is uniquely qualified in presenting to the audience his thoughts and discuss the challenges facing FMCG companies and how to find growth and profit in the current business environment.
