Cuixiang Wan, PhD, associate professor, now works at State Key Laboratory of Food Science and Technology, Nanchang University, Jiangxi-OAI Joint Research Institute. After graduated from Wuhan University, Cuixiang engaged in research of probiotic separation, analysis of probiotics performance and application, annotation of gene and protein and pathogenic bacteria detection.
In 2008, Cuixiang participated in research team building named" Chun Hua Qiu Shi" of Nanchang University .The team is in accordance with the humanistic spirit "Introspection, Benedict worship, Countenance of character, Strictly enforce ", which is committed to food quality and safety, appliment basic research in the field of biotechnology for food science, talent training, technical cooperation and exchanges.
In the past five years, Cuixiang managed one program which was supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, completed a number of program successfully which was supported by the Jiangxi province. Furthermore, Cuixiang participated in certain projects which was supported by 973 program, 863 program, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. In 2013, Cuixiang went to Clemson university in the United States for overseas visit and study which supported by National CSC and "Sailing project" of Jiangxi province association for science and technology. Up to now, Cuixiang has published more than 40 academic papers, including 16 as the first author or corresponding author, and obtained two authorized patent in China.
