Hongbo Yu, the head of Food &Beverage Research Institute and convener of Innovative Commission of UNIPRESIDENT　ENTERPRISES(CHINA)  INVESTMENT CO.,LTD, is in charge of strategy-making and implementation of company’s innovation business, while presiding over the food and beverage development, formula optimization and technology innovation. As a result, he successfully promotes launch of several consumer-preferred and hot-sales new products such as “Hai Zhi Yan”a kind of soft drink specially for Summer’s, “A Sa Mu Xiao Nai Cha“（a kind of milk Tea using Assam black tea）, “Shui Qu Duo”(near water drink by addition of a few whey fermentation broth), “Du Hui Xiao Guan” ( instant noodles with new dishes ), “Man Han Da Can” (upgraded instant noodles coupling with a real-meat/vegetable pouch).

He also pushes forwards corporative projects between R&D centre and colleges as well as scientific research institutions, further effectively transferring laboratory’s research results into industrial practice. So far, there are total scores of patents filed or being applied so as to consistently enhance innovative capability of company’s.
