Mark Geerts is CEO of PaperFoam bv, a Dutch company developing and producing PaperFoam®. The company is based in the Netherlands and has production locations in the US, the Netherlands and Malaysia. PaperFoam is an injection molded product produced from industrial starch and fibers. PaperFoam® is mainly used for packaging applications for a.o. electronics, cosmetics, medical products and food. Mark has been working in the packaging industry since 2008. Before he has worked in the information technology industry for many years, and has been working as an environmental scientist at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. He studied applied mathematics (control theory) at the universities of Twente and Groningen.
