Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic of Milan (1989), Stefano started his career as Logistics & Distribution Consultant in Accenture (1990-1992). He joined Barilla as Bakery Plant Production Manager (1992-1995). In Barilla group, he than grew up his responsibilities through different supply chain roles:

- North Italy Logistic Network Chief  for Number 1 Logistic Group (1995-1998);

- Pasta Plant Production Manager (1998-2000) in Barilla Meal Solutions Division;

- Barilla-Net e-commerce Fulfilment Director (2000-2002);

- Asset Design and Production Planning Director in Bakery Barilla Division (2002-2008);

- From 2009: current position, as Leader of the Barilla Global Supply Chain Management of Integrated Planning and Customer Service processes
