Mike Bascom is an experienced senior commercial leader with a proven track record of consistently delivering stretch business results. He has extensive multi-functional experience with expertise in consumer and customer marketing, sales management, strategic planning, change management and people management.
Mike joined ABInBev in 2006 as a Global Management Trainee, he has worked across multiple functions including marketing, sales and supply. Currently Director of Marketing; AB InBev Canada, Mike manages a diverse team responsible for ABI’s High End brand portfolio in Canada including: Corona, Stella Artois, Shock Top, Goose Island, Alexander Keith’s all Import and Craft brands. His team is responsible for developing insight driven portfolio and brand positioning strategy, 360 degree connection planning and activation, Innovation development and new brand launches.
Accomplishments include: Developing and executing AB InBev Canada’s High end strategy, Integration of Corona and Modelo Brands into Canadian portfolio. Development of award winning Alexander Keith’s Hop Series and Mobile Brewery campaigns, Kokanee “The Movie out here”
Mike was educated at Upper Canada College in Toronto and Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada. He recently graduated from the Advanced Marketing program at Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University in Chicago Illinois.
