Bachelor in food science and technology (in China);
Master in biotechnology (in China);
Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering (in USA).

Experience:
The author has 20+ years of experience in the food industry. She is currently responsible for Quality, food safety and regulatory compliance for 25 Cargill food ingredient plants in Asia Pacific and coordinating food/feed safety related activities in 30+ Cargill grain, meat, and feed facilities. She leads development, implementation and updating of food safety management system, quality management system, and lab management system in new plants, existing plants, joint venture, etc. She provides training for Cargill employees and shares Cargill knowledge within food supply chain. She also has about 4 year innovation leader experience while leading Quality and food safety simultaneously.
