Siew Ting has been holding different brand management roles with Unilever, Mars Incorporated and Diageo. She is currently marketing director for Diageo Brands, MHD, after a successful stint as Regional Brand Director of Johnnie Walker and Scotch Portfolio in Diageo Asia Pacific.
She has broad spectrum of marketing experience from category strategy/portfolio development to Asian relevant innovation development, brand stewardship and local market leadership. Category experience in both mass fast moving consumer goods and premium brands in personal care, foods, confectionery and luxury premium drinks category targeted at broad demographics of consumers.
Her brand stewardship skills is most recently exemplified in pioneering the Johnnie Walker YULU “ Words of Journey” campaign which won 11 advertising communications awards across Asia Pacific and China – namely Campaign Asia, China Effie awards etc. The result of being able to engaged the young consumers in the China social media resulted in her winning “Top 50 China business innovators” by CBN News Weekly on 2 March 2011 and top 8 brand innovators with P&G and Kraft winning alongside. She is also the youngest Asian female awarded for “Keepers of Quaich” – a leading scotch whisky award who awards individuals for leading contribution for the scotch whisky industry.
