Ms. Alexis Wong continues her entrepreneurial spirit focusing internationally as Founding Partner / Co-Chief Executive Officer of Prometheus Partners and subsequently founder and CEO of Blinq, an integrative Onine-to-Offline marketing platform. Ms. Wong conceived the business concept originally in San Francisco in 2008 and later, in 2011, brought the concept to China to enter into a long-term partnership with Shanghai Metro as her entry point in China. Under Ms. Wong’s leadership, Blinq has now entered into partnership 29 cities between US and China and is expanding its footprint quickly across China and beyond.
In addition, Ms. Wong founded AGI Capital Group, Inc. in 1998, which is now a multi-faceted real estate development company that has overseen and confirmed more than USD $1.5 billion of development and investment opportunities under Ms. Wong’s leadership. Since 2007, AGI has been in partnership with CalPERS, the largest public pension fund in the United States with over $250 billion USD under asset. Ms. Wong remains as the Chairman of AGI.
Over the years, Ms. Wong been appointed to various prominent state boards and commissions namely the California Real Estate Advisory Board (appointed by then Governor Gray Davis); concurrently serving on the COIN Advisory Board (appointed by then Insurance Commissioner John Garamendi) providing oversight to national insurance companies operating in California; California World Trade Commission and the Asian Pacific Islander Affairs Commission (appointed by then California Senate Pro-Tempore, John Burton); and the California Small Business Advisory Board (appointed by then California Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez.)
Ms. Wong has been recognized by the San Francisco Business Times as “Top 100 Most Influential Women in Business,” “49 Most Influential People in San Francisco,” and “Top 50 Asian American in Business in the U.S.,” by the Asian Economic Development Center in New York. In June 2007, Ms. Wong was recognized by the California State Assembly for “Excellence in Business” in the State of California.
Ms. Wong is also involved in several philanthropic organizations including New Hope Home, a foster home caring and curing medically challenged orphans and the founding of the Oakland-China Wildlife Preservation Foundation which successfully obtained the approval from Chinese Central Government to grant a pair of Giant pandas to a U.S. City. She worked closely with California and Congressional leaders as well as President Bill Clinton in conjunction with the Chengdu Municipal and Provincial Government and the Central Government in China on this endeavor.
Ms. Wong received a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and an M.B.A. in International Management from Golden Gate University. Ms. Wong graduated Magna Cum Laude.
