Being born and raised in Hunan China, Xiangwei survived the most competitive Chinese university
entrance exams by scoring top one in multiple municipal districts in the Province, which afforded her
the opportunity to study in Beijing and receive her Economics degree from the University of
International Business & Economics. She later received her MBA from Columbia Business School in New
York.
With a rich career path of 20+ years spanning different industries and functions in Asia, Europe and
America, Xiangwei now runs a global business unit based in China for Royal DSM, a science-based global
leader active in health, nutrition and materials.
Being a corporate executive with entrepreneurial passion, Xiangwei prides herself on her solid business
track record in a wide range of leadership positions starting from sales & marketing, supply chain, new
business development to M&A, as well as general management.
Fluent in Chinese, English and German, a true world citizen with broad international and local
perspectives, Xiangwei also enjoys discovering, engaging, exchanging innovative ideas from experts to
school students and people with different backgrounds, thereby gaining insights on future development
directions that are far beyond the scope of her work.
With absolute passion for people, performance & life, a proud mother of two wonderful children,
