Diana Escoda is the General Manager and Head of the Pacific Global R&D Innovation Center for the Coca Cola Company, located in Shanghai and the R&D hub in India. Diana is responsible for leading the R&D agenda for the Pacific region including both short and long term programs, working in close collaboration with the business partners and key functions in the Pacific and globally. She is also responsible to drive the innovation agenda for the Dairy and Tea categories globally including the upstream Research programs in these areas.
Diana started with The Coca Cola Company in 2012 in Shanghai after 20 years of experience in The Procter and Gamble Co. where she held key Research & Development leadership roles across different categories. She has a very diverse multicultural background with Spanish, Venezuelan and Lebanese influence and has lived in 9 cities in 5 different countries across America, Europe and Asia (Beijing and Shanghai).
She is a strong supporter of Women and Hispanics in leadership where she has been recognized for her leadership and participation since the early stage of her career. She and her husband have 4 kids with ages ranging from 16 to 2y.old. She is also a beginner but avid passionate of outdoor sports in her free time.
She studied Chemical Engineer at the Simon Bolivar University in Venezuela followed by a Master in Business Economics (UCAB) and a specialization in Surfactant Technology (ULA).
